One of significant disadvantages of sitting around here in the states is that we’re spending a lot more than we’re earning. Which is to say, nothing. I do have a few clients here and there, but I could use more–not just to earn a small living, but to prevent myself from going stir crazy.

The nice thing about having nothing to do is that we can take more vacations than usual. Last week we went out to the Olympic Peninsula to enjoy the unseasonably nice weather.

It’s been another month of no movement–but apparently we’re not the only ones, nor is ICS-RIO the only school dealing with this. All three NICS schools in Brazil have teachers stuck in America while they wait for their visas–for a total of fifteen!

NICS has set aside tomorrow, October 12, as a day of prayer for all of us trying to get into Brazil. They’re going to be praying for us at all the NICS schools around the world, and we’d appreciate it if you’d do the same.
